WVU community invited to ‘Rock for Ukraine’

Faculty, staff and students at West Virginia University are welcome at “Rock for Ukraine,” a benefit concert organized with the Ukrainian community of Morgantown that is scheduled for tonight (July 20) at 123 Pleasant Street.

Doors open at 7 p.m. Music begins at 7:45 p.m.

This is an 18+ show with a $10 entry fee. All proceeds from the event will directly provide medical supplies and technological assets for Ukrainian citizens and Ukrainian refugees as Russia’s war in Ukraine continues.

Cody Cannon, a Morgantown comedian, is the host for the event. Scheduled feature performers include Ted Kisko Trio, Pants Queen, Better Off As Animals, Tom Batchelor
Band, Popshop Presents: The Mixups and KAMI Presents: Tired. 

Sunflowers, Ukraine’s national flowers, will be also sold during the event in cooperation with the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design.
