If you have a presentation, idea, knowledge, interest or hobby that you would like to share with an engaged group of learners, OLLI at WVU may be the place for you.
OLLI at WVU is seeking volunteers to teach classes, deliver lectures, lead workshops and facilitate discussion groups on a wide variety of courses for our summer quarter, including the arts, literature, history, philosophy and religion, current events, political affairs, science, math, health and wellness and more.
Drawn from all walks of life, many OLLI volunteers are current and retired teachers, university professors and administrators, business and civic leaders, and other professionals from the community who wish to share their knowledge and passion.
Classes, one to eight sessions in length, are offered 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Friday, although evening and weekend classes are encouraged as well.
Summer course proposals are due Monday, March 28, at 5:00 p.m. Our summer quarter runs July 11 through Sept. 4. Classes can be delivered in-person, on Zoom or in a hybrid manner.
