Leadership and Organization Development of Talent and Culture encourages WVU people leaders and staff to invest in their development with a new live webinar. JD Williams of JD Williams Training will take the lead during this one-time live webinar “Developing Assertiveness & Self-Confidence in the Workplace” March 30 from 11 a.m. to noon.
During this live webinar, you will explore the importance goal setting has and gain tools and techniques that will help you to respond to difficult behaviors.
There are people who know what they want and how to get it. They can accomplish this by being assertive and confident with their words and actions while maintaining positive, healthy relationships with others. Gain an understanding of what assertiveness and self-confidence mean for you in this workplace. Tap into your greatest potential as you learn to develop enhanced communication and influence skills.
Remember, all LOD classes are available at no cost to leaders and staff at all WVU campuses.
While the Office of the Provost hosts multiple Faculty and Leadership Development offerings specifically for faculty, faculty members also are welcome to participate in LOD’s class offerings. Faculty who supervise employees are encouraged to enroll in LOD’s Leadership Development classes.
