This month, the Office of Graduate Education and Life, in partnership with The Daily Athenaeum, launched a new podcast series to highlight the achievements and insights of WVU graduate students and faculty.
The series, “GradLife 601: Research and Beyond,” is hosted by Provost Administrative Fellow Nancy Caronia, a teaching associate professor with the Department of English. Throughout the series, Caronia will interview graduate students and faculty to discuss their experiences and how they came to be passionate about their research. They’ll also talk about life beyond the lab and academy.
For the inaugural episode, Nancy Caronia talks with Dr. Nanette Raczka, who recently earned her PhD in Biology. Dr. Raczka received a WVU STEM completion grant for her research on soils in climate change across global ecosystems. She will share her research, provide tips on graduate school, and discuss her upcoming postdoc in Singapore.
