WVU Rheumatoid Arthritis Research Study

Arthritis Study

Do you suffer from symptoms of Rheumatoid Arthritis despite trying multiple medications? If so, you may qualify for the RESET-RA study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of a novel treatment option for Rheumatoid Arthritis by activating the vagus nerve in the body.

The RESET-RA study is designed to determine whether applying a small amount of electrical stimulation to the vagus nerve in the neck through an investigational vagus nerve stimulation device can improve RA in patients who continue to experience symptoms even after they have tried multiple medications.

Many rheumatoid arthritis patients do not respond or are intolerant to RA medications.
