OLLI at WVU is seeking volunteer instructors to teach a wide variety of courses for our summer term, including the arts, literature, history, philosophy and religion, current events, political affairs, science, math, health and wellness and more.
The fall term runs Oct. 4 to Dec. 10 and classes, one-to-six sessions in length, are offered from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend classes are encouraged as well.
OLLI at WVU depends on the generosity of volunteers to teach the quality courses and learning experiences offered throughout the year. Drawn from all walks of life, many OLLI instructors are current and retired teachers, university professors and administrators, business and civic leaders, and other professionals from the community who wish to share their knowledge and passion.
The fall term will find OLLI members back in our classrooms at the Mountaineer Mall in Morgantown and facilities in Charleston. We will also continue to offer classes in hybrid models for our members and instructors who still prefer to join us from home.
Course proposals are due Monday, July 12.
