In honor of National Children’s Dental Health Month, WVU families with children are invited to join the Mountaineer KidZone teachers and senior dental hygiene students for some healthy family fun Feb. 17, at 6 p.m. Families will learn about promoting positive dental health habits for their children and ways to help keep their smiles bright while enjoying themed stories, clever songs, demonstrations and games.
To pick up your activity kit, use the convenient Field Rec Refresh pod located just outside of the Student Rec Center on the following dates:
Friday, Feb. 12 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 13 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Monday, Feb. 15 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Tuesday, Feb. 16 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 17 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Kits are limited to the first 100 children registered but are not required to join this live virtual event.
Register for the Feb. 17 children’s dental virtual event.
We are also participating in America's ToothFairy annual Smile Drive and will have collection boxes available at the Downtown and Field Rec Refresh pods throughout February for donations of children's dental supplies to benefit local kids in need.
