Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Meshea L. Poore continues her weekly series of short videos, exploring topics centered on helping members of the WVU community live, learn and work together with care and respect for each other.
“As we go throughout the year, we will observe Black History Month, Women’s History Month, LGBTQ Pride Month and many others,” Poore said. “Why do we do this? We do this to lift up – bring awareness to – parts of our shared history that have often been left out.”
