WVU has launched its latest online Title IX training for new employees. This training, focused on issues of diversity, equity and inclusion, is hosted by the company Get Inclusive, the same training provider that developed WVU’s COVID-19 safety module.
Employees who started a new position in the last half of 2020 should receive an invitation to the course. In addition, new employees will automatically receive the course invitation in the first month of employment. Since WVU is required to provide this type of training to all of its employees, supervisors are encouraged to support completion of this training.
“This online module can help us continue to move forward in developing the kind of culture we want to build together at WVU,” said Sam Wilmoth, senior Title IX education specialist in the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion’s Office of Equity Assurance.
