Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Meshea L. Poore has launched a weekly series of short videos exploring topics centered on helping members of the WVU community live, learn and work together with care and respect for each other. This series will address various topics, including ableism, free speech/counter speech, cultural appropriation and the land-grant mission.
“As we begin 2021, we have new opportunities to learn and grow together,” Poore said. “You can have empathy for someone and treat them with respect and still disagree with them.”

“One of the most important things a Mountaineer can do is respect the differences we have on this campus, see the value in each of our gifts and talents and fully appreciate one another,” Poore said.
A new video will be released each Tuesday.
