The Market @ UPlace has opened the grocery portion of the store with stocked shelves and grab-and-go items at the ready. The grocery portion joins Starbucks to offer groceries, including produce, meats, sundries and frozen foods, as well as grab-and-go food items.

The location, operated by WVU Dining Services, replaces the formerly empty storefront where Sheetz used to be at University Place. The Market will be open from 9 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. There will be special giveaways at the location throughout January.

Across town, WVU Dining Services is also wrapping up renovations on Cavanaugh’s coffee shop at the Health Sciences and will reopen as Jazzmans at Cavanaugh’s Jan. 25. The location will have a new layout, new styles of coffee and fresh baked items in addition to grab-and-go items to include sushi.

Students should also stay tuned for the opening of Panda Express at the Mountainlair later this semester.

As these new locations open, WVU Dining Services will be ensuring they are compliant with physical distancing and other safety measures to reduce the potential spread of COVID-19. Visit the Return to Campus website for additional details.
