To allow for continued construction on the new Reynolds Hall project, a portion of Beechurst Avenue will be closed from 7 p.m. on Friday (Dec. 18) through 6 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 21.
The road will be closed to pedestrian and vehicular traffic from University Avenue to Campus Drive as crews set rooftop air handling units atop Reynolds Hall.
During the closure, traffic will be detoured through the downtown area of campus via University Avenue and Campus Drive. The one-way section of University Avenue below Colson Hall will become a two-way road during this time. This will allow vehicles to travel up from Beechurst Avenue, through campus, and down Campus Drive to regain access to Beechurst Avenue.
