Starting today (Dec. 14), the ITS Service Desk will operate on reduced hours, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. We will close for official University holidays and will resume normal hours as posted at it.wvu.edu/help Monday, Jan. 18.

The ITS Service Center in the Mountainlair will close Tuesday, Dec. 15 and reopen Monday, Jan. 4. The ITS Service Center in Bennett Tower will be open 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29 and Wednesday, Dec. 30, but will close for the remainder of that week.

Faculty, staff and students can still look up answers and check for outages when WVU is closed. You may also leave voicemail at 304-293-4444 or create tickets by emailing ITSHelp@mail.wvu.edu, but these won’t be addressed until we reopen.

Considering getting a new phone or tablet over the holiday break? Be ready to set up Duo again by printing backup codes at login.wvu.edu. Your Duo account is connected to your device, not your phone number, so if you replace your phone, you will also need to add the new device. You’ll need a code to log in and remove your old device  then add your new phone.

Faculty and staff who have an emergency while ITS is closed should contact their college or department IT manager.
