Southeast whitewater trip happening in June 2021

whitewater kayaking

Encourage students to register for the 2021 Southeast Whitewater Tour, an adventure to teach the art of whitewater kayaking June 21-28 on the rivers of Asheville, North Carolina.

Participants will travel around North Carolina in a small group of eight, along with two instructors, where they will camp and go on whitewater kayaking adventures around Asheville on the world-class French Broad, Tuckaseegee and Green Rivers.

Students will learn from experienced Adventure WV instructors and local guides how to maneuver in the rapids, developing unique and exciting skills while being surrounded by a beautiful and pristine environment. Encourage students to immerse themselves in an adventure that will leave them with unforgettable and fun memories.

The trip cost is $515, which includes all transportation, instruction, camping equipment, food and fun! Registration opens February 1 and runs until February 28. There will be 8 spots available on a first-come-first-serve basis, with a $95 non-refundable registration fee due at the time of registration.

While it is great if students have some paddling experience before this trip, it is not required.
