Enrollment Management announces Slate access and training updates

s

The University will mark a major milestone this summer by launching Slate on July 8, a modern customer relationship management platform designed to transform how we recruit, communicate with, and support prospective students and families.

Slate brings applications, communications, events, and reporting together in one connected system, giving employees a more complete view of each student’s journey and creating opportunities for more personalized, timely, and meaningful engagement.

The result is a more seamless experience for prospective students and families, and better tools for the employees who support them.

On July 8, all employees who currently have access to Salesforce Learner Org will automatically receive access to Slate. Eligible users will receive an email with instructions for accessing the system.

All Slate users also will be added to a dedicated Microsoft Teams channel, which will serve as a central location for the following:

  • Asking questions

  • Receiving important updates and announcements

  • Reporting issues and receiving support

  • Sharing tips and best practices

Employees who believe they need access to Slate but do not receive it on July 8, should ask their manager/supervisor to submit an access request and select “Need Something Done.”

Enrollment is a shared responsibility, and Slate represents an important investment in the future of the University. By modernizing how we connect with prospective students and families, we are positioning WVU to recruit and enroll the next generation of Mountaineers more effectively than ever before.

As we prepare for these milestones, employees with access are encouraged to explore the platform, participate in training opportunities, and join in shaping the future of enrollment at WVU.

Slate users are encouraged to participate in training sessions throughout July. All virtual sessions will be recorded and shared for future reference.
