The Office of the Provost invites faculty to a new workshop, “Connected and Convincing: Composing a Teaching Narrative for Annual Review and Promotion Files,” Nov. 17 from 1-2:30 p.m.
The workshop will offer a hands-on, collaborative approach to developing teaching narratives. During the workshop, participants will be asked to generate, write and share ideas about their teaching. The facilitator will guide participants in purposefully and clearly communicating those ideas to review committees. All faculty and graduate students interested in developing teaching statements for prospective jobs are encouraged to attend.
