The WVU Center for Excellence in Disabilities will provide a step-by-step introduction to accessibility for PDFs Nov. 19 from 1-2 p.m. The West Virginia Assistive Technology System will demonstrate how to make PDFs accessible and how to check for accessibility and built-in features to make the process easier.

Accessibility features make it easier for people with disabilities to use PDF documents and forms with and without the aid of assistive technology software and devices such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, text-to-speech software, speech recognition software, alternative input devices, Braille embossers and refreshable Braille displays.
