Faculty, staff and students on all campuses will be unable to change passwords from 8 -11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 25 during an important upgrade to login.wvu.edu. New employees and newly admitted students also will be unable to claim accounts during this period.
This planned outage won’t prevent you from logging into WVU systems such as the Portal or using Duo two-factor authentication. You will still be able to generate Duo bypass codes at login.wvu.edu and perform other tasks while the work is being completed. Information Technology Services is upgrading the servers behind login.wvu.edu based on vendor recommendations. Full functionality will be restored after 11 a.m.
