Shared Research Facilities has posted its COVID-19 procedures for the fall 2020 semester at its website. All users must follow procedures established by their college and the WVU Research Office in addition to following SRF’s procedures.
Instruments will be available to all trained users. Users who have been away since March must first meet with the appropriate SRF Manager(s) to ensure that the user remembers how to properly and safely use the instrument. Send email to the appropriate SRF Manager with the subject “TRAINED USER REQUEST FOR INSTRUMENT ACCESS” to request a meeting.
Contact information is available at the website. Instrument reservations must be made in the iLab scheduling system at least 48 hours in advance to be approved by SRF Managers. Training will become available once proper PPE and medical monitoring is in place. Check the website for updates. SRF Managers can perform analyses for PIs who do not have a trained user in their lab.
