WVU clarifies interim COVID-19 guidelines

covid-19

The University has issued additional guidance regarding COVID-19.

An announcement Monday morning (July 6) outlined several measures designed to increase safety in light of the current outbreak.

Please note that this is interim guidance based on the current uptick in cases, especially an increase in Monongalia County cases. This guidance can and will be updated as the situation evolves, especially with regard to quarantine requirements.

For example, Monday afternoon (July 6), Gov. Jim Justice issued an executive order requiring West Virginians to wear face coverings when indoors where social distancing is not possible.

Additional information will be released later today regarding WVU’s plans for a Return to Campus so watch your email for details, as well as information about the next Return to Campus Conversation.
