Osher Lifelong Learning Institute offering summer classes online

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at WVU is offering 30 classes and seven member events online to help older adults in the community stay socially connected and intellectually engaged this summer.

Participants can enjoy classes in history, art, music, health and wellness, science, current events, travel and technology. Summer classes include: "The Book of Kells: Celtic Arts and the Illuminated Manuscript,”  "Music from the Brill Building," "Understanding Medicare," "Prohibition and the Mafia," "How Plants Communicate," "Technology Security" and many more.

Classes begin July 6 and run through Sept. 18. OLLI membership is required and term fees apply. Fee waivers are available.

Free of tests and grades, OLLI offers learning for the fun of it.
