Students may apply for the fifth annual Summer Policy Institute

For the fifth year in a row faculty from various Schools across WVU are helping to plan the Summer Policy Institute coordinated by the West Virginia Center on Budget and Policy. The institute brings together highly qualified college students and young people for a three-day immersive learning experience. This year’s SPI will be held from July 17-19

Participants will:

-Learn about vital policy issues affecting West Virginians

-Develop leadership skills

-Network with fellow students and policymakers from state government, academia, and the public and private sectors.

-Prepare for a future in a policy-related field with hands-on learning sessions.

SPI includes a combination of seminars, interactive workshops, and fun activities with leading policy experts and West Virginia Center on Budget and Policy.
