Since its launch in November 2016, WVU’s partnership with Care.com has seen great success. Care.com is a national organization of caregivers that brings eligible employees and members of the WVU Retirees Association Care@Work membership at no cost.

Through the Care.com site, eligible employees currently have access to services, such as babysitters, senior caregivers, pet sitters, housekeepers and others – no matter where they are nationwide – by signing up with their official WVU email address.

WVU recently expanded our partnership with Care.com to offer senior care planning resources to eligible employees and retirees at no cost.

Senior care planning provides access to professional guidance and assistance when dealing with aging loved ones. Benefits include:

  • A dedicated senior care advisor with a master’s level social work degree.

  • a personalized action plan.

  • assistance in finding senior care providers.

  • help understanding all available options.
