As the University prepares for a new era under the leadership of incoming President Michael T. Benson, the internal news and information source currently known as MOUNTAINEER E-News will be updated to more effectively serve faculty and staff.
Changes will be implemented during the summer months.
Going forward, the MOUNTAINEER E-News website will continue to serve as a hub for information — including events, announcements and other important notifications — for faculty and staff along with other members of the University community.
Find the E-News submission form.
Beginning Aug. 1, the email version of MOUNTAINEER E-News will relaunch with a new streamlined look, more curated focus and reduced delivery schedule on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
MOUNTAINEER E-News is managed by the Office of Strategic Communications which is part of the restructured WVU Strategic Communications and Marketing, the division formerly known as University Relations.
The planned MOUNTAINEER E-News changes follow feedback gathered during a survey conducted last fall.
We thank everyone who participated in the survey for thoughtful, helpful responses that have informed the new direction we’ll work to solidify in the coming weeks and months through discussions with various campus constituencies.
The overall goal is to efficiently provide important, necessary information across the WVU System while also highlighting the dedicated faculty and staff members who make the University a great place to work, learn and live.
If you were not able to participate in the MOUNTAINEER E-News survey, please send any additional feedback via email to enews@mail.wvu.edu.
The Strategic Communications team looks forward to continuing to keep faculty, staff and other members of the University connected with news, information, features and more.
Let’s Go!
