UN-sponsored disarmament scholarship available

United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs

This June, the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs will provide a fully-funded program for students from around the world to learn about nuclear disarmament, and how those students can spread the message of disarmament in their local communities.

This is a competitive scholarship opportunity and students are required to submit two short essay responses and three letters of recommendation as part of the application. Students from all disciplines and majors are encouraged to apply. Faculty are asked to promote this opportunity with applicable students.

To aid in the application process, the ASPIRE office (Arnold Hall) is coordinating the application. For more information, email ASPIRE program coordinator, Eric Myers, at Eric.Myers@mail.wvu.edu
