retina

Shared Research Facilities manager Dr. Marcela Redigolo is one of the organizers of a one-day Pre-Meeting Congress on Contemporary Electron Microscopy Advances in Biomedical Research to be held Aug. 2 before the Microscopy & Microanalysis meeting— the largest of its area in the U.S.

The meeting will discuss topics such as advances and challenges in immuno-electron microscopy and correlative LM-EM workflow, best practices in the preparation of different kinds of samples, including plant, insect, aquatic/marine, and pharmaceutical specimens for electron microscopy, among other subjects.

Participants are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract to PMC (can be the same one submitted to M&M2020).
