Join the WVU Women's Resource Center as the MHS Thespian Troupe #27 presents "The Most Massive Woman Wins” Wednesday (Jan. 29) from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Mountainlair’s Gluck Theater. Admission is free.
In this play by Madeleine George, four women of various shapes and sizes sitting in the waiting room of a liposuction clinic explore their perceptions of body image. The women reveal their experiences dealing with their weight issues through monologues, short scenes, and even schoolyard rhymes. These experiences both haunt and empower imagine their way to a new vision of themselves as beautiful and whole.
