Data analysis and visualization help to span the gap between collecting assessment information and improving students’ learning experiences. This workshop will introduce basic principles for data analysis and visualization and tools for doing both in Excel. A two-hour “data studio” time has been scheduled following the presentation for anyone who wants to work on their own data project with assistance available.
The presenter is Robynn Shannon, assistant director of assessment and quality assurance in the Teaching and Learning Commons.
