A new Center of Excellence module that helps researchers register clinical trials is available in WVU+kc. All researchers planning human clinical trials at Health Sciences or associated medical centers must register projects using the new module. This module replaces the Apex trial registration form.
The CoE module allows researchers to request West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute services such as budget creation, training and help with proposals. The module also improves the negotiation process between researchers, WVU and sponsors by standardizing risk evaluation and connecting IRB data and proposal information in WVU+kc.
