WVU to host WVU family holiday celebration

holiday party

WVU will host a Family Holiday Celebration Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Vandalia Lounge on the first floor of the Mountainlair. Children (ages 2-10) of the University’s regular full-time and part-time employees, as well as children of graduate assistants are invited to story time read by the Mountaineer and a chance to visit with Santa. Refreshments will be provided.

The WVU Family Holiday Celebration is open to the first 100 children registered. An adult should accompany each child, with a max of two adults per family.

Families are encouraged to donate to Toy Mountain by bringing a new unwrapped toy valued at $5 or more. The Toy Mountain program is a partnership between Student Engagement and Leadership and the Student Government Association. Toys will be given to Christian Help as part of its annual holiday toy distribution for underprivileged children in and around the Morgantown area.
