The Mountaineer Hub is celebrating its fourth anniversary Friday (Nov. 15). The campus community is invited to stop by the second floor of Evansdale Crossing from 12:30- 2:30 p.m. to join in the “Hubiversary” celebration, which will include cake and balloons.
On this day and every day, the Mountaineer Hub is a great place to direct students for information about financial aid, student accounts, scholarships, student employment, and Registrar information. Before the Hub, students had to walk 1,212 steps on the downtown campus to meet with each of these offices individually. Now, the Hub is proudly their convenient one-stop-shop.
This celebration also marks four years of growth the Mountaineer Hub has undergone in order to best serve students. The Hub has seen more than 85,461 visitors and answered almost half a million phone calls so far.
