The Research Center on Violence will present a panel, "You Can Do Sociology Anywhere," Oct. 28 at 1 p.m. in 104 Downtown Campus Library. Henry Brownstein and Rosemary Gido have navigated research careers in both academic and government agency settings.
Drawing on these experiences, they will offer insights into the rewards and challenges of conducting research in political settings, developing skill sets that support career paths in each arena and keeping your sociological imagination attuned to the exciting world of research.
