The 2019 Fall Week of Action begins Oct. 22-25.

All students, faculty and community members to engage in a variety of events:

Tuesday, Oct. 22 from 7-9 p.m. in the Mountainlair Gluck Theater
Join us for a screening of "Roll Red Roll," a true-crime thriller that goes behind the headlines to uncover the deep-seated and social media-fueled "Boys will be boys" culture at the root of high school sexual assault in America.

Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Mountainlair Vandalia Lounge
“What Were You Wearing?” is sponsored by the Title IX & Equity Assurance Office. Peer advocates present a collection of 40+ stories and clothing of sexual assault survivors representing what each was wearing at the time of their assault.

Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 6-8 p.m. in the Morgan House Great Lounge
Join us for “Consent & Tacos" to learn the answers to the questions and myths around sexual consent. Campus and community resources, plus free tacos, will be provided.

Thursday, Oct. 24 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Mountainlair
Join us for “Consent is Sexy Photo Booth.” Learn more about A.C.T Like a Bystander and take the It's On Us Pledge to receive a free t-Shirt.

Friday, Oct. 25 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in Hatfields at the Mountainlair
“Chains for Change” will provide an opportunity to join advocates in symbolically showcasing WVU's commitment to addressing sexual violence by sharing survivor stories or showing support for survivors of sexual assault.

It’s On Us was launched in 2014 following recommendations from the White House Task Force to Prevent Sexual Assault that noted the importance of engaging everyone, especially men, in the conversation to end sexual violence.

Sexual assault does not discriminate; it can happen to any person, at any time.

Sexual assault is pervasive on American college campuses: 20% of women, 13% of men and nearly half of all LGBTQ students will experience sexual assault at some point during their college career.
