Are you interested in conducting research on your teaching and your students’ learning? Join two faculty members for “Scholarship of Teaching and Learning: Where Do I Start?” Oct. 24 from noon-12:45 p.m.
Lizzie Santiago, teaching assistant professor in freshman engineering, and Marina Galvez Peralta, teaching assistant professor and assistant chair of teaching in pharmaceutical sciences, have been conducting this type of research.
Attendees will learn about some of the key steps in the process: identifying a teaching and learning challenge, writing a clear research question, developing a research plan, and identifying data sources. This webinar will also discuss the Institutional Review Board and the role it may play in your research.
