Academic Resource Center and Accessibility Services Testing Center now open in Downtown Library

The Academic Resource Centers offer free tutoring to WVU students.  Drop-in tutoring for math, chemistry, biology and physics is offered Sunday-Thursday 6-9:30 p.m.   

Appointments can be made for those subjects as well as many others, Monday- Saturday noon to 6 p.m.

Previously located on the first floor of the library, the ARCs now share a divided space accessed in Room 144 on the Lower Level of the Downtown Library with the Office of Accessibility Services new accommodation testing center.  

The Office of Accessibility Services Testing Center assists faculty and staff administer quizzes, tests, and exams to students authorized testing accommodations through the Office of Accessibility Services. At this location students have access to wheelchair accessible seating, a reduced distraction setting, an all-gender restroom, and a water fountain.  After discussing with the student if utilizing the OASTC is the best way to ensure their accommodations are implemented, instructors may submit a Testing Center Request Form
