WVPEC invites WVU community to lunch and learn on WV Women Moving Forward, feminine entrepreneurship

The West Virginia Public Education Collaborative, Remake Learning and Prototype Pittsburgh invite WVU faculty, staff, students and community members to a special Lunch and Learn Oct. 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Mountainlair.

Discussions will hone in on the effects of implicit bias in the workforce, pay equity, women in technology, feminine entrepreneurs and innovative approaches for inclusion. 

Guest speaker Erin Gatz, cofounder of Prototype Pittsburgh, will discuss how to promote gender and racial equity in technology and entrepreneurship. 

In partnership with WV Women Moving Forward initiative, the education working group members will also share progress updates.

Complimentary lunch will be provided by Remake Learning. Space is limited.
