The West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute will host two MacArthur Genius Awardees for a special seminar on research excellence.
WVCTSI External Advisory Committee members Bonnie Bassler, professor and chair of molecular biology at Princeton University, and Dr. Wafaa El-Sadr, director of ICAP and university professor of epidemiology and medicine at Columbia University, will present, “Reaching National Excellence in Research: Insiders’ Perspectives.” During this seminar Bassler andEl-Sadr will provide helpful lessons learned during their careers.
This seminar will take place May 13 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in room G119B of the WVU Health Sciences Center. A networking lunch is also available at noon for those who RSVP to sarah.haymond@hsc.wvu.edu by today (May 10) at noon.
