Join discussion leader Amy Cyphert, director of the ASPIRE Office and lecturer in the College of Law, in The Speculation Academy's second conversation of the spring 2019 semester on Thursday (March 28) at 4 p.m. in E. Moore Hall's Betty Boyd Lounge. Cyphert will discuss how universities should respond to sexual assault offenses under Title IX, whether punishment should focus on retribution or restoration and which model of justice would be best. All students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be provided.
The Speculation Academy is an interdisciplinary discussion series devoted to the exploration of new and experimental ideas in a supportive and respectful community of students and faculty.
