Redshirt junior Tristen Di Sibio won the men's 200 breaststroke championship on the final day of the 2018 Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championship, as the West Virginia University swimming and diving teams earned a pair of second-place team finishes.

Ameenah Shakir will present, "Birthing Liberation: Dr. Helen Dickens, Race, Rights and Health Activism" for the annual Africana Studies Lecture. Dr. Shakir is an Assistant Professor of African American History at Florida A&M University and the recipient of a National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship for the 2016-2017 year. Her research explores the intersection of race, health and gender.
Sarah Kendrew, an astronomer and instrument scientist at the European Space Agency, will prest “The Giant Telescopes of the Future” at 7 p.m. Friday (March 2) in G09 White Hall.
