Two members of the School of Public Health have been selected to serve on the new Morgantown Health & Wellness Commission. Dr. Lauri Andress, assistant professor in the Department of Health Policy, Management, and Leadership, and Dan Shook of the WVU Injury Control Research Center, will help advise and recommend plans and projects to improve the health of Morgantown residents.
Shan Jiang, assistant professor of landscape architecture in the School of Design and Community Development, and her research team will utilize immersive virtual reality technologies to conduct a study focused primarily on hospital wayfinding.
Faculty are urged to encourage undergraduates interested in taking part in scholarly activities (research or creative endeavors) to submit applications to the 2018 SURE program (Feb. 28 deadline).
