Ian B.K. Martin, M.D., M.B.A., professor and chair of the Department Emergency Medicine and professor in the Department of Medicine, was recently elected President-Elect of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM)—the premier organization representing the researchers and educators in Emergency Medicine. He will soon complete a one-year term as Secretary-Treasurer of the Society.
