Philosopher Valerie Tiberius to discuss ‘Well-Being as Value Fulfillment’

Philosopher Valerie Tiberius (University of Minnesota) will deliver a talk titled "Well-Being as Value Fulfillment" Thursday (Nov. 8) at 7 p.m. in White Hall G-09.  Discussion of well-being in the popular media tend to focus on social science research.  What do humanistic disciplines bring to the conversation? This talk aims to answer that question by presenting a philosophical theory of well-being and explaining why the theory might matter. This event is part of the WVU Humanities Center's Quality of Life Speakers Series.
