Share your feedback: take part in conference and event management survey

As a leading institution of higher learning, colleges and divisions across WVU  hosts countless conferences and events each year for faculty, staff, students, local businesses, members of the community and more.  

However, the University does not currently have a standard integrated-technology solution for managing the planning, registration, collection of fees and other services related to conferences and events hosted by WVU.

In response, the Division of Finance recently partnered with Information Technology Services and a cross-functional team of University representatives to build a survey, which will help us gain an understanding of the breadth and scope of WVU’s conference and event needs. This information also will help us identify potential software platforms to support these requirements.

If you currently lead the planning and organization of conferences and events at the University, we encourage you to take part in the survey.

Note: Before beginning the survey, you may want to gather basic information related to the total number of events by type (e.g., conferences, camps, galas, etc.), the estimated number of attendees and the estimated revenue from attendance fees. Exact figures are not necessary; best estimates are acceptable.

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
