WVU received classification in 2010 as a Community Engaged University and is now seeking to retain this recognition through a reclassification process to be finalized by April 2019. This classification requires evidence-based documentation of institutional practice to be used in a process of self-assessment and constant quality improvement for community engagement. In preparation for this application, faculty and staff are invited to learn more about the process, as well as to consider ways they may like to be involved.
