The West Virginia University Division of Talent and Culture is asking all students, faculty and staff to show their “Mountaineer Pride” by wearing officially licensed WVU gear on Friday (Aug. 31).
WVU is one of many universities around the country taking part in national College Colors Day – an annual celebration dedicated to promoting the traditions and spirit that make the college experience memorable.
Show your support by posting photos on social media of yourself and your WVU colleagues donning your favorite University gear using the hashtag #CollegeColorsDay.
WVU is awarding prize packs for the most creative Twitter and Facebook posts from faculty and staff.
To be eligible to win a prize pack, be sure to tag @WorkatWVU if you are posting to Twitter. If you are posting on Facebook, be sure to comment on the Talent and Culture page’s official post kicking off the event Friday morning. You also may email your College Colors Day photo to social@mail.wvu.edu on Friday to enter the contest.
Contact Kallie Nealis at (304) 293-3599 orkpnealis@mail.wvu.edu with any questions.
