REMINDER: MyAccess site will redirect to portal.wvu.edu starting Sunday

Starting Sunday (May 20) the MyAccess site will automatically redirect all WVU employees to portal.wvu.edu, where employees will find everything currently under the tabs in MyAccess. You will no longer be able to navigate directly to myaccess.wvu.edu.

This change is being made to improve security and ease of use. It also will restore the ability to log into some systems from off-campus without using Citrix (MasterApps), such as Mountaineer Marketplace, MyTravel and MyExpenses.

However, Citrix provides additional security and will still be required for off-campus use of the MyTime suite (Leave Request, Time Card, Web Clock and Designee) as well as MAP, Data Miner and Discoverer Reports.

Faculty, staff and students each see different things in the Portal, depending on their roles. If you have more than one role in WVU systems, such as student and employee, click the menu icon in the top left corner to toggle between views.

Information Technology Services also has a formal process for requesting changes to the portal at it.wvu.edu/help. This is the appropriate way to submit requests for: the addition, removal or editing of links; announcements to employees; and changes in ALEKS cohorts.
