2018 Performance Review process begins Monday

At West Virginia University, we believe each and every member of the Mountaineer family plays a critical part in bringing our land-grant mission to life through their individual roles, responsibilities and results.

WVU’s annual performance review process for classified and non-classified staff and certain FE/AP employees is designed to measure an employee’s capabilities, accomplishments, development and overall contributions to the University.

Beginning Monday (May 21), eligible employees (those hired prior to March 12, 2018) will receive an email to their WVU account from the performance management system along with instructions to complete a pre-review in the system. The pre-review is optional but strongly recommended.

Note: Employees will need their WVU login information and Duo two-factor authentication enabled on their computer, phone or other electronic device to access the performance management system.

The pre-reviews will remain open through Sunday, June 3. However, once a pre-review has been submitted, it cannot be retracted or modified.

Once the pre-reviews have been processed, supervisors will complete performance reviews for their team members. After all levels of approval are obtained, supervisors will share the performance review results with their employees between Sept. 3 and 28.
