Take a hike during Core Arboretum Spring Wildflower Walks

The season’s last Department of Biology Spring Ephemeral Wildflower Walk will happen April 22 at 2 p.m. These free, guided tours are a spring tradition at the WVU Core Arboretum! Participants will learn the names of the flowers and some interesting facts about the flowers. Last year, in the course of three wildflower walks, more than 45 species of plants were seen in bloom. All tours will meet in the Arboretum parking lot. Additional free parking is available at the nearby WVU Coliseum. No reservations are needed. Dress appropriately for the weather and for hiking. More information is available on the Department of Biology website.
