WVU Russian program will hold "Тотальный диктант" (a total dictation for native speakers of Russian) and TruD (a test for learners of Russian as a foreign language), on Saturday (April 14) at 4 pm. Total dictation for native speakers - Oglebay 103 and TruD - Oglebay G10. Total Dictation is a voluntary free event open for everyone and it is run simultaneously in 3,000 places in Russia and around the world. It is an event aimed at drawing attention to issues of literacy and at developing a culture of literate writing in Russian. It is the first time WVU Russian program hosts this event. Every Russian speaker or Russian learner is welcome. Small prizes to be awarded for outstanding writers.
