The Transportation and Parking office is collecting food and personal hygiene items from today (March 5) through April 13 to benefit the students served by Pantry Plus More Inc., of Monongalia County. This local non-profit was founded by WVU student Roark Sizemore as a high school project and has now expanded the operation to serve additional school age students.
The pantry’s mission is to bring food and basic needs directly to students so that they can focus on learning in the classroom. “Our collaboration with the Transportation and Parking office impacts our mission by increasing donations and spreading our message of helping kids”, said Sizemore.
